Received email about an ad I didn’t post

If you did not actually post the ad but you unexpectedly receive an email from Adjeem confirming that you just posted an ad, it means someone else may have gained access to your account. This could be an attempt to defraud the community.

Sign in to your Adjeem account immediately to change your password and delete any ads that you did not post. Also verify that your existing listings were not modified.

To change your password:

1    Click on the Sign In link found on the top right hand of the page.

2    Click the red Forgot your password? link, follow the instructions, and we will send you an email to change your password.

3    Keep in mind, the password reset link is valid for a period of 15 minutes. Once the reset request expires, you have to send another request of reset password link.

Your Adjeem password had probably been obtained using “phishing”, a process where scammers send you fake emails that look like they are from Adjeem and ask you to sign in via a fake Adjeem site.

To ensure that you do not fall for phishing attacks, always make sure that when you sign into Adjeem the address in your web browser starts with https://www.Adjeem.com
