Kijiji is a safe, trustworthy way to find a pet in your local community. We work together with our engaged community and reputable animal welfare agencies across Canada to prevent, detect, and discourage illegal pet vendors.   As of March 2014, individuals posting dogs or puppies for sale on Kijiji are required to pay a listing fee. This fee is being charged to reduce the amount of repetitive, low quality ads listed on Kijiji and also provides additional information to assist in actions against illegal pet vendors.    The listing fee can be paid using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or PayPal. After paying the listing fee, your ad will appear on Kijiji for 31 days. At the end of the 31 day period, you will have the option to re-list it at the same rate stated above.    Please note:

• Your credit card information is never stored.
• Animal Welfare Agencies and Shelters are exempt from this fee. We value the work that animal welfare agencies do in their local communities and look forward to continuing our support. As such, we will also donate a portion of the fees generated to animal welfare agencies across Canada.
